Accessing Books
There are several ways to find and read books in the collection:
- Browse by Subject — explore all titles organized by academic discipline, or browse by subject for publicly available titles only.
- Browse by Title — browse all titles alphabetically, or browse by title for publicly available titles only.
- Browse by Author — browse all authors alphabetically, or browse by author for publicly available titles only.
- UC affiliates — faculty, staff, and students at any University of California campus have free access to the full collection when connected to the UC network or via VPN.
- Public access — more than 700 of the titles are available to the public. Print versions of many of the electronic books can be purchased directly from the publishers.
Linking Suggestions
Linking to a single book: In the header of each book, the suggested citation includes a URL that can be used to link directly to the book.
Tab-delimited file of public books: Can be used to add URLs to catalog records in library systems. Fields include ISBN cloth, ISBN paper, author, title, and URL.
