Marriage date: 1711. This elderly couple were the parents of Juan Nicolás Ponte, head of household 6.1. They lived here with all their remaining offspring, including both their single and married children and their grandchildren, as well as other kin. This was the only three-generation, stem household of Caracas elites in 1759. The married children were not identified as separate families, but the two (also elderly) sisters of Lorenzo Ponte Villegas who also lived here were considered to comprised a "family" of their own.
